Nest visits twice a month the Lady Ridgeway Hospital in Colombo. Children attend the Psychiatric, Neurological, Cardiology and Nutrition clinics. Children are sent to wards from clinics. Children are under the age of 13 years. They travel from far away villages and towns by bus or train. They come to the clinic with a letter from a Doctor in their area. Nest gives each child light refreshments. Also, because of the problem families are having with lower income than usual, school items are handed out. Such as Exercise books,ball point pen, pencil, water bottle etc.If there are children who need overnight accommodation in Colombo, Nest offers them Board and Accommodation, free of charge, at it’s Residential Centre, Kare House, in Palliyawtte, Hendala. Nest gives cash for transport.

d) Adults and youth in the Forensic wards at the National Institute of Mental Health, Angoda

Nest introduces activities for the Adults and Adolescents in the Forensic wards once a fortnight. The CHWs take refreshments and many things for everyone to do and enjoy themselves, including taking them out in the garden.
